Wolt is a Finnish technology company and until recently, we’ve been best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favourite meals & items from our restaurant & retail partners, and either pick them up or have them delivered by our courier partners.
However, food delivery was just the start. We don’t want to just satisfy our customers’ hunger, but to deliver a wide variety of products and expand our platform to some cool retail shops, supermarkets, flowers, toys and other exciting products, all referred to as Retail.
Wolt was founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash in 2022. DoorDash operates in 30+ countries today, 27 of which are with the Wolt product and brand. Wolt has been growing rapidly in Cyprus since we launched here in 2021, and we're looking for the people that will further expand and accelerate our growth!
We work in small teams with high ownership, with each team focusing on a key area of the Wolt product stack. Each and every one of our product team members has a say in where we are going and what solutions we implement. We work with a passion, but we haven't forgotten how to have fun along the way!
Job Description
Are you a field sales professional with experience in closing deals and managing a portfolio of partners? If this sounds like you, then we’d love to chat!
Role background
Wolt launched in Cyprus in December 2019 and as the best rated app, we’re now delivering to customers in major cities.
As such, we need a strong and energized field sales professional to drive the signing up of new partners to the Wolt platform and to manage the partner relationships.
As time progresses and more partners are onboarded, the targets and duties of the role may develop - in the first instance, we’re looking for someone that wants to get their teeth into this exciting project!
While you’ll have dedicated support and will work in conjunction with other Sales Managers, you will be responsible for your own accounts. Therefore, you’ll need to be comfortable with working autonomously and with a lot of responsibility.
What you’ll be doing
- Identifying potential partnerships and closing deals to hit our sales targets
- Managing the pipeline of new potential partnerships
- Building ongoing relationships with the identified partners
- Understanding venue performance in order to set profitable business terms and conducting negotiations regarding partnership terms
- Creating a strong communications loop alongside the sales team
- Making sound business decisions by supporting intuition with data

Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience of being successful within a field sales position
- A natural ‘hunter’ with excellent communication and networking skills
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with numbers for closing win-win deals
- Ability to thrive in very fast-paced environment
- High energy & drive to work for a newly launched and fast-growing business
- Experience in account managing is a strong plus
- Fluent in Greek and English
