About the Job

As a Junior Risk Analyst, you will gain first-hand knowledge and exposure on how financial markets work. We are currently hiring individuals to help us extend our presence in Cyprus. For this role, we seek individuals who are eager to learn, have strong attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills, and wish to pursue a career in Finance.

Risk-Dealing

  • Coordinating and managing foreign exchange trading portfolio in all currencies.
  • Preparing daily reports for stakeholders
  • Monitoring market movements and be up to date with the market news or sudden events
  • Managing risk through Positioning and Trading within approved limits, policies, and procedures.
  • Executing analytical procedures on related business areas upon request
  • Exploring new ways of improving the existing procedures continuously

Requirements

  • Degree in finance, mathematics, economics, IT discipline
  • 1+ years in relevant work experience preferable
  • Having past trading experience or market exposure will be an advantage, but not essential
  • An interest in the financial market
  • Good technical skills in Python or coding knowledge will be an advantage, but not essential
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
