What does the job look like?

The Head of Compliance & AML will have the opportunity to focus on:

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the organisation complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
• Policy Development: Creating and updating compliance policies and procedures.
• Training and Education: Conducting training programs to educate employees about compliance and ethics.
• Monitoring and Auditing: Overseeing compliance audits and monitoring ongoing activities to identify and mitigate risks.
• Reporting: Reporting compliance issues to senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Risk Management: Identifying potential compliance risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Investigations: Leading internal investigations into compliance breaches and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborations: Working closely with other departments, such as legal, finance, and human resources, to ensure a coordinated approach to compliance.
• AML Compliance duties: Ensuring compliance with all AML duties such as designing internal practices, measures, and procedures, preparing risk management and procedures manual, monitoring and assessing the correct & effective implementation of the policy, applying monitoring mechanisms, etc.

What will you need to be able to do the job?

• Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, or a relevant field (MSc, MBA is preferred).
• Proven experience in the FX Industry of minimum 4 years, such as in the Compliance leadership role, preferably as a Head of Compliance or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional Leadership and Team Management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.

Other Requirements:

• Excellent command of English language.
• Professional certification in compliance (e.g., CySEC Advance License, regulatory compliance & AML).
