What does the job look like?
The Head of Compliance & AML will have the opportunity to focus on:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the organisation complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Policy Development: Creating and updating compliance policies and procedures.
- Training and Education: Conducting training programs to educate employees about compliance and ethics.
- Monitoring and Auditing: Overseeing compliance audits and monitoring ongoing activities to identify and mitigate risks.
- Reporting: Reporting compliance issues to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential compliance risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Investigations: Leading internal investigations into compliance breaches and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborations: Working closely with other departments, such as legal, finance, and human resources, to ensure a coordinated approach to compliance.
- AML Compliance duties: Ensuring compliance with all AML duties such as designing internal practices, measures, and procedures, preparing risk management and procedures manual, monitoring and assessing the correct & effective implementation of the policy, applying monitoring mechanisms, etc.
What will you need to be able to do the job?
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, or a relevant field (MSc, MBA is preferred).
- Proven experience in the FX Industry of minimum 4 years, such as in the Compliance leadership role, preferably as a Head of Compliance or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional Leadership and Team Management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
Other Requirements:
- Excellent command of English language.
- Professional certification in compliance (e.g., CySEC Advance License, regulatory compliance & AML).
