On behalf of our client, a well established company in the foodstuff manufacturing and trading industry, we seek to recruit a HoReCa Sales Manager for its premises in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assists with leading the Sales efforts within the HoReCa market, and reports directly to the Country Sales Manager.
  • Monitors and help drives sales and revenue for the full product portfolio across the HoReCa channel in Cyprus.
  • Builds and sustains relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
  • Monitors developments in the marketplace, identifies and seizes sales opportunities and proposes relevant action plans for further development.
  • Supports the selling and negotiation process, including lead generation, presents the brands, runs product demonstrations, and reaches final agreement with commercial offer.
  • Promotes a one-stop-shop approach to secure full product portfolio agreements within the HoReCa channel.
  • Monitors customer agreements, evaluates sales performance and ensures full implementation of agreements.
  • Evaluates sales performance of all products across the portfolio on a monthly basis and initiates relevant action plans.
  • Collaborates closely with the area supervisors to evaluate sales performance and ensures target alignment.
  • Secures a profitability threshold based on total investment per outlet, such as commercial agreement, equipment, and visibility.
  • Secures equipment productivity through the right placement, as well as evaluates productivity of existing equipment already placed in the marketplace.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador to the area sales team, cascading the product knowledge through continuous on-the-job training.
  • Participates in relevant exhibitions and educational seminars abroad.

Requirements

  • University degree or College diploma
  • At least 3 years of solid management experience in sales within the coffee industry
  • Very good knowledge of the coffee industry
  • Experience within the HoReCa market will be considered an advantage
  • Self-motivated and driven individual with an attitude to grow
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiations skills
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
