Introduction
The primary responsibility of this role is to solicit, define, and manage technical and business requirements for software development.
Your Role and Responsibilities
This individual should have experience with requirements management and software development methodology and have worked extensively with business users, development teams, and Quality Assurance teams. Potential candidate will need to closely collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. Will have to assign proper development tasks, and develop detailed system specifications, diagrams and flowcharts to guide the development teams. Work closely with development teams to oversee the implementation of client IT solutions. Ensure seamless integration of new developments with the existing ones, and their prompt high-quality delivery within strict customer deadlines.
This position will define the business requirements and technology-independent process and data models for technology solutions in the banking/financial sector and will bridge the gap between the business customer and the development team.
- Analyzing and documenting business processes and technical workflows and their relationships to current and future software solutions.
- Partnering with business users to fully surface their requirements; conducting interviews with key project stakeholders to define proper scope, system goals and requirements.
- Assisting in the coordination of projects from planning and design phases to development and support.
- Assisting business users, project managers and IT leadership in optimizing the scope, benefits and risks of proposed projects; help manage expectations of users and management. May act as a project manager on some, small size, projects.
- Defining use cases to articulate new functional software needs and the roles of each class of application user.
- Analyzing the impact of change requests.
- Supporting traceability from requirements through to QA; assisting in the definition of test plans and testing strategies and in the preparation of technical test scenarios for use by the QA teams.
- Assisting in the definition of roll out, training and user support plans.
- Proposing modifications to existing development phases to enhance quality and performance.
- Presenting concepts in a concise and focused manner, including narrative, process diagrams, role and accountability diagrams and business-focused story boards.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field. Msc degree in a relevant field will be appreciated
- At least 3-5 years experience in business and technical analysis of complex IT projects, in the banking or financial sector
- Experience with working with clients and stakeholders within the business
- Fluent in both Greek and English languages
- Experience in the implementation of banking front end solutions (both for the branch and digital channels) will be an asset
- Experience working in global delivery environment will be an asset
- Experience with agile software development methodologies will be an asset.
