As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the group's financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You will be involved in developing budgets and control as well as take part in audits.

Responsibilities

• Compilation and consolidation of Management Reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and IFRS Financial Statements (annual)
• Developing and controlling budgets
• Preparing reports for CySEC, FCA and SCB
• Supporting the process of financial statements audit for the group of the companies by “Big 4” and local auditors
• Solving complex accounting and tax issues, including impact of new transactions in CY/UK/Bahamas or other countries
• Review client reconciliations
• Managing relationships with external tax agents, advisors and auditors
• Reviewing and optimizing internal controls and accounting procedures
• Advising accountants on complex accounting issues
• Regular monitoring of changes in tax legislation, accounting rules and IFRS

Requirements

• University Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a qualification in International Tax
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CTA, or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience (incl. 3 years in Big-4)
• Experience as head of accounting/financial controller would be preferable
• Experience in Financial Services (FOREX, iGaming, FinTech) would be considered an advantage
• Excellent Communication and Analytical Skills, ability to work under pressure and overtimes (when needed)
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office product suite, MS Excel specifically
• Familiarity with SAP is desirable, but not essential
• Experience in external audit, practical experience of compilation and consolidation of IFRS Financial Statements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Greek, Russian or Ukrainian would be an advantage
