Position Overview
We are looking for an ‘Employee Engagement & Onboarding Specialist’ is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing onboarding processes that foster a positive and engaging experience for new hires. This role ensures that new employees feel welcomed, supported, and fully integrated into the organization’s culture and values. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing employee retention, job satisfaction, and alignment with company goals.

Responsibilities:

Onboarding Program Development

  • Design and continuously improve onboarding programs to align with company culture, values, and business objectives.
  • Develop and manage onboarding materials, including welcome kits, presentations, handbooks, and training schedules.

New Hire Integration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period.
  • Coordinate pre-boarding activities, including accommodation setup, flight bookings, and initial communications.
  • Organize and facilitate orientation sessions, company tours, and introductions to teams.

Employee Engagement

  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless transition from recruitment to onboarding.
  • Monitor and assess the onboarding experience through feedback surveys and direct communication with new hires.
  • Develop initiatives that enhance engagement.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Partner with managers and team leaders to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into their teams.
  • Coordinate with learning and development teams to ensure access to required training and resources.
  • Act as a liaison between new hires and HR for any concerns or questions during the onboarding period.

Cultural Advocacy

  • Promote company culture, values, and diversity and inclusion efforts through onboarding content and practices.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen new employees’ sense of belonging.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and improve processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Work independently, managing work schedule based on the needs of the position.
  • Driving license
  • Fluent in Greek, English and any Nordic language will be considered as an advantage
