We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our treasury and financial risk management efforts as the Head Of Treasury and Financial Risk Management.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this strategic role will oversee all aspects of treasury operations, cash management, and financial risk mitigation to support the company's growth and financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Cash Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company's cash flow, liquidity, and working capital efficiency.
- Monitor global cash balances and cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
- Lead initiatives to centralize and streamline cash management processes across multiple business units and geographies.
Financial Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, credit risk, and counterparty risk.
- Develop and implement hedging strategies and derivative instruments to manage exposure to market volatility and fluctuations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on risk management strategies and capital allocation decisions.
Debt and Capital Structure Management:
- Manage the company's debt portfolio and capital structure, including evaluating financing alternatives, negotiating debt agreements, and optimizing debt terms.
- Monitor debt covenants and compliance requirements, and coordinate debt repayments and refinancing activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors on capital markets transactions, such as debt issuances and credit rating reviews.
Banking and Treasury Operations:
- Manage banking relationships and negotiate banking services and fees to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash positioning, liquidity management, and transaction execution.
- Implement and maintain robust controls and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of treasury operations and financial transactions.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends impacting treasury operations and financial risk management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews of treasury activities and controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field;
- 4+ years of progressive experience in treasury management, financial risk management, or corporate finance roles.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing treasury strategies and managing complex financial transactions.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Internally - stakeholders management; leadership skills, influence stakeholders
- Externally - influence the relationships in the banks , negotiate with big banks
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to senior executives and external stakeholders.
