Job Description
Our Foody Market team is looking for a Demand Planner who will join our team and contribute to our growth journey.
If you are proactive and detail-oriented and like working with numbers and combining several metrics to make decisions, Foody Market is the place to be.
As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for preparing demand forecasts, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining our efficiency high when it comes to replenishment for our stores. Your main goal is to optimize stock levels and ensure we have all the products we need to satisfy our customers’ needs.
What you'll do:
Prepare demand forecasts, initiate orders to the stores or store transfers, and track reception by creating and managing purchase orders.
Analyze current inventory status and update the ordering parameters to keep the correct inventory levels at the stores (# Out Of Stock or Over Stock) while ensuring high availability
Maintain parameters of the replenishment model and make sure it is accurately input into the system, including lead times, reorder points, economic order quantities, and suppliers' minimum order quantities.
Manage the relevant inventory in coordination with the operations manager and store managers.
Compile timely and accurate analyses and reports of inventory and purchase forecasts.
Dispatch orders to suppliers and ensure proper tracking.
Liaise with suppliers to improve collaborative forecasting planning and replenishment.
Safeguard the maintenance of appropriate and accurate records of in-stock and inventory positions.
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
Fluency in Greek & English (written and oral).
Good communication skills, team player, detail-oriented with a structured mindset.
Data-driven, solution-oriented with a can-do attitude and a high sense of responsibility.
Comfortable working and meeting specific targets in a fast-paced working environment
