The opportunity

Our CCaSS practice is seeking to recruit talented and high-performing professionals who can draw on their experience to help clients through their Sustainability Transformation and Energy Transition.

Governments and organizations are going through a fundamental transition driven by geopolitical and regulatory challenges, new technology, evolving consumers and decarbonization. As an EY professional, you will bring your sectoral knowledge and experience to build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with external clients and to drive their business performance and growth, leveraging on EY’s innovative solutions and transformation framework. Working as part of a high-performing team, you’ll deliver exceptional client service and help leading organizations with their transformation and transition journey.

Key responsibilities

  • Bring understanding of current and emerging sustainability and energy sector client challenges and a leading point of view of how these can be met to support client engagement and business development
  • Work in complex local and global projects for private and public clients to develop net zero and energy transition strategies
  • Build internal and external relationships and engage in the bidding process to support business development and growth

Skills and attributes for success

  • Ensuring our engagement team thoroughly understands our clients’ unique needs, ambitions and expectations
  • Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service
  • Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve our products and processes
  • Proactive, flexible and team-oriented from concept and design through to implementation of projects. You have an intellectual curiosity and you are willing to go “the extra mile”
  • Very good analytical skills and a creative approach to problem solving

To qualify for the role you must have

  • An excellent academic track record in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant professional working experience in the energy or wider sustainability sector
  • Professional experience in positions with exposure to clients and/or other external stakeholders
  • Sector knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: ISO 50001, Energy Audit, Renewables, Energy Efficiency, Smart Grids, Electricity Market, ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, Decarbonization.
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English and Greek to effectively present and communicate with project teams, clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Quantitative and data analytics skill will be considered as advantage.
  • Prior experience with large public sector projects will be considered as a plus
